FR 5131 - Introduction to Geographic Information
Systems in Natural Resources
A first course in GIS, taught in Fall and Spring Semesters.
This course consists of a two-hour lecture (or two one-hour
lectures) and one two-hour lab per week. There are three exams,
two homework sets, and 12 laboratory exercises. Most of the
laboratory exercises require additional time in the computer
lab to complete. Class size typically runs 90-100 students.
