Prospective Students

Majors
The FR and RRM majors are administered by the Department of Forest Resources and department faculty play a leading role in instruction for the ESPM major.

Minors
These are typical minors for students interested in natural resources. FR students typically meet all the requirements for an ESPM minor and should, therefore, file for it. FR students who seek the minor in Fisheries and Wildlife will need to plan for taking several additional courses to meet minor requirements.

Visit
Come visit the St. Paul campus! While benefiting from the many opportunities of the larger University of Minnesota, being a part of CFANS on the St. Paul campus offers you a small community feel.

St. Paul campus tours are available weekday mornings from 9:00 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. On Mondays and Fridays, Academic Information Sessions are also available. These are tailored to your interests and include a general information session, an appointment with a faculty advisor, as well as a tour of the St. Paul campus and residence hall.

All visits are scheduled through the Visit Office by phone (612-625-0000 or toll-free 1-800-752-1000) or online on the University of Minnesota admissions page.
